Obama for Prez! (And a little bit more . . .)

Barrak Obama is what I think a president should be. I have watched a debate between Clinton, Obama, Edwards, and some other guy. I think that from what I watched, the fight is really between Clinton and Obama. Clinton and Obama both have good sides, and bad sides. Like Obama may talk to much, but he has good reasons to defend his opinion. Clinton, however, interrupts a little to much but has many good facts that she can work from. I could tell by the debate that Clinton was desperate to "talk sense" into Obama.

Some people might like Clinton better, and I'm sure they have their reasons, so I'm not saying that Clinton is a bad person, its just that Obama seems to be a better person to me.

I'm talking democrats, here, so the people who might like the republicans are really getting left out. I just focus on the democrats because both my parents are democrats. I'm sure though, that if both my parents were republicans, this post would be entirely on Huckabee and how I think he is better president than other candidates. (If I thought Huckabee was a better candidate.)

Hey, were talking about congress and all that stuff, so while were thinking about it why don't we talk about the Bill of Rights. Aren't one of the Rights 'Freedom of the press'? So, hey, all those people who are getting all huffy, its MY BLOG, and I can write whatever I want in it, thank you very much!

Daddy Does Ballet!

My dad goes on Thoth in a Mardi Gras Parade and his float broke down, and to pass the time he does a few arabesques and twirls. One of his students video taped dad's hilarious movements and then broadcasted it on youtube. Imagine dad's reaction when he found out anyone could see himself do ballet when a float broke down!

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!

The Chamber of Secrets is a very good book written by . . . (drum roll) J.K. Rowling!!! (Isn't J.K. Rowling a great author?) The Chamber of Secrets is a special place that contains a basilisk, one of the most deadliest creatures one can ever meet! You never want to look straight into this monster's eye, you will be dead in three seconds! Strangely enough, all the mudbloods in Hogwarts who have met this deadly creature have been found petrified, not dead. Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger join a dueling club, where Harry finds out he can speak Parseltounge, a language which snakes speak. As Harry tries to lead a deadly snake away from a fellow Hufflepuffian, he speaks Parseltounge and all of his friends turn against him, except for Hermione and Ron, who know the real truth. Ginny Weasley, (Ron Weasley's sister) starts acting very strange and especially when Harry finds Tom Marvalo Riddle's "empty" diary. From this "empty" diary Harry finds out untrue things that lead him to believe that Tom Marvalo Riddle isn't who he seems to be. Ron, Hermione, and Harry make a Polyjuice potion find out if Draco Malfoy knows any information on the Chamber of Secrets. It turns out he doesn't, but now Harry's suspicions are confirmed about Tom M. Riddle. Hermione is petrified by the basilisk, and Ron and Harry find all the answers they need to find the Chamber of Secrets from Hermione's notes secretly hidden in her petrified hand. Harry and Ron venture to the Camber of Secrets and Harry killes the dreaded basilisk and earns the heroship he deserves!
